Christian Madsen
President

With hands-on involvement in every project, Christian worked as a roofer, foreman and construction superintendent before taking on the role of president. Taking the family’s reputation very seriously, Christian rolls up his sleeves and gets involved to assure every client is happy and each project is one the company can be proud of.  He is past president and board member of the Western States roofing Contractor Association, and is a current board member of the Roofing Contractor Association of California.

Rosemary Reynolds 
Chief Administrative Officer

Rosemary’s first view into the roofing industry came from her father. She recalls:  I was sitting in my dad’s pickup truck at a grocery store when I was 10 years old waiting for him to finish walking the roof. I got bored and curious and walked around to the back where I saw his ladder. I called for him and he told me to come on up. He showed me around, and it was pretty cool; I’d never been that high. 

Now that Rosemary and her brother, Christian, have succeeded their father as owners of the Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc.—that first experience with roofing has turned into both a career and a passion. As Chief Administrative Officer, Rosemary’s responsibilities at Madsen include HR administration, supervising administrative staff, and managing the safety, apprenticeship and wellness programs. She also oversees the company’s marketing and facility maintenance among other things. 

Rosemary graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz in May 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts and Literature. She went on to receive a culinary arts degree from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Rosemary graduated from NRCA’s multi-year Future Executive Institute program in 2011.

Dave Patton
Estimator

David has been in the commercial roofing industry for six years. At Madsen, his role includes estimating, project management and sales. Married with two kids, David’s hobbies include outdoor activities and classic cars. David likes finding solutions for the different day-to-day challenges that come with every project. 

Jamie Thagard
Estimator

With 19 years’ experience in roofing business, Jamie has been with Madsen since 2013 as a project manager and estimator. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children camping, boating, fishing, barbecuing and attending sporting events. Jamie enjoys being outdoors and meeting new people. He is proud to work at Madsen because the safety of installers while installing high-quality roofing is a top priority.

Jesus Andres
General Superintendent

Jesus joined Madsen as a foreman in 1997 and was promoted to superintendent in January 2012. In 2009, Jesus was selected as one of five national finalists for roofer of the year recognition by the National Roofing Contractors Association. Jesus lives in Sacramento with his wife, two daughters and faithful Chihuahua, Kimbas.  When he's not working around the house and helping his friends and neighbors with projects, Jesus likes to play soccer, take his family to church and bike ride with Kimbas running by his side.
