Spring 2009
This quarter our Service and Safety
Manager Ed Allen shares one of his
favorite recipes, a bright spring
spinach salad with with strawberries
and avocado. “This
recipe is a perfect way to bring
the fresh seasonal fruits and veggies
of Spring back into your home!” -

Ed’s
Spring Spinach Salad
(1)
10 oz. bag of fresh spinach
(2) Cups sliced fresh strawberries
(1) Avocado diced
(1) 4 oz container of crumbled feta
cheese, (plain)
½-cup toasted slivered almonds
Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette
Suggestion: Fresh Bread of your
choice on the side. Also good with
cut-up grapefruit sections or a large
can of mandarin orange sections – drained
Toss together in a large bowl. Recipe
serves approximately 4. |
