Recipe Corner:
Winter 2009
For every newsletter we like to have
a member of the Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing
family share one of their own recipes.
This quarter, our Estimator
David Patton provides one of his
favorite winter deserts:
Dave’s Potato Chip Cookies.
"This is one of my favorite
cookies my grandmother use to bake.
For the person who loves 'salt and
sweet' this is an absolute favorite."
Dave’s
Potato Chip Cookies
(1) Cup of butter or shortening
(1) Cup of white sugar
(1) Cup of brown sugar
Add 2 eggs and beat well
(2) Cups of coarsely crushed potato
chips
(1) 6-oz. pkg. of butterscotch cookie
chips
Sift together:
2 ½ cups of four
(1) Tsp. soda
Mix well into the other ingredients
and drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet
and bake 10-12 minutes at 375. Makes
4 dozen.
